David Crowder is a creative songwriter who has merged contemporary worship pop with elements of folk, country and other genres. Just over a year ago, I felt drawn to his song "All My Hope" (YouTube, Amazon). Not the duet with Tauren Wells, but the one that featured a choir, as it was very Gospel-flavored.
I was able to produce it for a church I was serving at the time. I transcribed the chord chart and also arranged an SAT lead sheet for it. Our choir was featuring a female lead, so I changed the last line of the bridge to "He picked me up and showed me how to be strong." This song would work particularly well with Easter, testimony-related services, or messages related to the Christian life.
