I liked this song so much on the radio that I pulled into a parking lot and downloaded Shazam to find out what it was. "Be Lifted" is a black Gospel song that's very straight-forward, catchy and energetic. It requires a lot of intensity to pull it off, and involving the vocal harmonies is preferable. The strong call-and-response element helps the congregation participate if reluctant. I arranged this song for my church a few years ago, and it was very well-received.
