This year, we're rounding out African American Music Appreciation Month with some instrumental jazz. I was perusing cyberspace the other day and found the work of the artist and pastor Ben Tankard. He writes and arranges jazz songs, often collaborating with other instrumentalists, and has quite the resume. Ben Tankard's second most popular song on Spotify is "Soulfood Sunday," also featuring Michael Manson. (I always love the creative titles of songs in genres of African American music). This song and other similar works could work well in a variety of church and ministry functions.
