I've posted about Cross Worship before, and their powerful rendition of Hillsong's "So Will I (100 Billion X)." They just released an original song (written by Troy Culbreth and Darius Byers) entitled "Victorious." Simple melody and lyrics. The ambience with D'Marcus Howard's vocal style makes me wonder if there's a pinch of African musical influence inside their mix of contemporary pop and black Gospel for this ballad. "Victorious" is available on YouTube, and the other options for streaming and buying can be found here. Lyrics below:
The war is over
You’ve already won
The storm is over
You’ve already won
The pain is over
You’ve already won
And our song will be we’re victorious
Cause you’re victorious
And our song will be we’re victorious
Cause you’re victorious
His Kingdom is here now
We’ve already won
Healing is here now
We’ve already won
Now Heaven is open
We’ve already won
Faith arise now
Joy take hold now
Dreams awake now
Here now
Here now
Love arise
Hope bring peace
New life can shine now
Here now
Here now
