One of the things I've always enjoyed about black Gospel music is the creativity in song titles (e.g. "Souled Out," "Now Behold The Lamb," and "Don't Cry"), and this song is no exception. "You Deserve It" is a popular recent song performed by J.J. Hairston. It's very straight-forward and powerful, but it may seem (at first) repetitive to congregants who are accustomed to more verbose or complex songs.
